Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blondies

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blondies

Last week we went to Watkinsville. We spent a few days with Scott’s parents…it was almost like vacations for us:) I thought about making a good dessert for the family and what better than PB and Chocolate chips:) This recipe is from here. It’s very easy to make and delicious!

Here is the recipe:

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blondies

Ingredients: (12 bars)

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl combine all the dry ingredients, set aside. In the measure cup, mix  milk, egg and egg white. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. Then add the peanut butter stirring until combine. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread batter into an 8×8 baking pan, coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 30-35 min. or until is golden and brown. Let it cool before cutting into bars.

Thursday was a beautiful day, kinda of warm and sunny…perfect for going out:) We did some shopping that day, we bought our first laptop! It’s been a while that we thought about getting one and finally we did:)

Then Friday…was pizza night! Scott and I made some pizzas for dinner. We made 3 pizzas! Scott made the guys pizza… sausage and ham with a lot of cheese…haha and I made the veggie one, half mushrooms with green peppers and the other half with black olives for the parents:)

It was a lot of fun for sure! We did enjoy our little vacations:)
